The spokesperson, mouth piece, opinion maker, chronicle, database, archive, PR tool, documentation, RCC's voice- call it what you may, but the role of The Caducean stands unquestioned in the Rotaract Club of the Caduceus today. What started off as just a newsletter, today chronicles endeavours undertaken by Caduceans across all avenues and fields, and to honour their spirit of hard work and dedication, has been named after them, that is to say, YOU.

                     From events to opinions, from essays to contests, from community service to fundraising, from health camps to club service; the net cast is as broad as the range of RCC activities, and its reach perhaps even broader. Not only does it keep members abreast with what everyone has been doing, it also is a key tool for decision-making. It generates interest, makes people aware, solicits feedback, and helps gauge impact. It is also an indelible watermark in cyberspace that stands testimony to our activities, a permanent record that we are proud to share even with outsiders. This flag-bearer of the RCC movement takes the Rotaract message far and wide, and also brings us new members and more outreach, like funding and public support.

                    The amazing success of The Caducean in its debut year has added another feather to the illustrious RCC cap. This year, The Caducean will continue as Volume 2 with a completely new look, new sections, new stories and new features.
