"We love making our micro attempts at reducing health care disparities in rural India. In this process, often we gain more than we give. Our active contribution in making "our" home a slightly better place does give us tremendous satisfaction. But there is more to it. Our interaction with our coevals from a strikingly different ecosystem broadens our mind, enriching us with unique experiences & disparate perspectives on making sense of a world in motion... It surely keeps us going back for more!"

"Sometimes patient listening is all that a patient needs! This adage holds true especially for the geriatric population in the less privileged communities; where the youth is busy grappling to overcome harrowing poverty and often when age has stolen their significant other. In his poem "All The World's A Stage", Shakespeare's comparison of old age to childhood was so apt! Just like kids, silvers too need their fair share of attention. We applaud the Humanitas retirement home in Netherlands for their brilliant project in aid of the silvers in their community- rent free housing to students in exchange for their time to accompany the retired inhabitants of the nursing home... Bravo!"

"The indispensability of tangible assets in reducing healthcare disparities in rural India remains irrefutable. However the importance and need of superior quality intangible assets in accomplishing the said task should not be trivialized or taken for granted. That part of the world which is lagging behind, is in dire need of your vocational skills, soft skills, intellect, time, care and compassion."

"From tertiary care govt hospitals in a metropolis to primary care clinics in remote rural settlements, our projects afford us first hand experience with healthcare disparities across varied ecosystems in India. At some places, adversities arise from lack of resources, at others shockingly due to unwise use of existing resources. This highlights the importance of organized training in 'resource allocation' as a part of our med school curriculum, and lack thereof."

"Our projects address several pressing issues such as malnutrition, non-communicable diseases, inequities in adolescent health, women's health, and maternal & child health; each of which transcends national borders. Thus, through our replicable sustainable public health programs and implementation of cost-effective solutions, we focus on making a measurable change in the healthcare status of our target communities from a truly 'Global Health' perspective."

"In post-camp hangout sessions with kids, a common question we encounter is, "How can I become a doctor?" It's encouraging to know how our health camps affect the community in ways other than just healthcare!"
